Deb Halliday is a qualified trainer, author, and Co-Founder of APX Training & Development Company, alongside Tim Seymour. Together, they are the authors of Advisory Teams, focused on helping accounting firms build scalable advisory services that go beyond the business owner.

She founded The Accounts Ladies, an award-winning accountancy, bookkeeping and financial coaching firm. With over 17 years’ experience. Deb has helped business owners take control of their finances, improve profitability and pay themselves properly.

Deb works closely with accountants, bookkeepers and firm owners who want to move beyond compliance and develop advisory services that can be delivered consistently across a team -not just by one person.

In 2025, Deb sold The Accounts Ladies client base to her team, enabling her to focus on developing training programmes for accounting professionals. Her work now centres on building advisory capability within firms, creating businesses that are not reliant on the owner to deliver growth.

As Co-Founder of APX Training, alongside Tim Seymour, Deb provides practical training, structured programmes and ready-to-use resources to support the transition into advisory and the development of high-performing advisory teams.

With a background spanning accountancy, business and professional training, including experience with a Central London training company, Deb is known for her straightforward, practical approach -making complex financial concepts easy to understand and apply in real business situations.
